It is good for your well being to meditate. Meditation doesn’t mean sitting crossed legs for hours, meditation can be done in many forms. It can be easy and simple, nothing hard or complicated we are all able to do it, many of us do so without even realising it.
Why has meditation been the core practice of all wisdom paths possibly since the beginning of time?
Because it is the most effective method to access your inner wisdom, it helps you to rediscover inner peace and even enhance your creative ability.
Meditation restores your well being and sense of peace and calm, once you have got that back all that you do will be fulfilling and successful.
But maybe you think you are OK as you are. Perhaps you feel your being is well and all is ok with your life.
But is it? Do you ever feel tense, worried, hopeless, mentally and emotionally tired? If so then all is not well.
Your body may be OK but your mind may not be, or the very inner you may not be.
Meditation is for the soul and for your mind.
Learning how to meditate is one of the greatest gifts you can give to yourself.
Practicing meditation means you care about yourself.
You can learn some of the more complicated types of meditation and visualization if you choose.
But why make it complicated when it doesn’t have to be?
You can start meditating by just finding 10 or 15 minutes a day to sit in quiet with yourself and just ‘be’
You could listen to a peaceful piece of music and let it take you far away.
You can sit in nature and just observe and connect.
You can sit in front of a candle and watch the flame, every time your mind wanders bring it back to the flame.
You can start by asking for some wise advice from your inner being, the answer to a problem or for inspiration for something.
Then think of it no longer but sit in the silence or with the music and the answer may come. It may not come straight away but it will come.
Breathe deeply, feel yourself relaxing and let the mind have peace. You owe it to yourself.
It’s easy you’ll see.
