This Week’s Food For Thought – Missing from your life

No matter how hard you try otherwise  you really can only be in one place at any moment in time.

If you are always wishing to be somewhere else, or trying to do more than one thing at one time you are never really fully present in the moment.


If you feel you are missing out on something then you are.

However it is not the party, or the other place, or being with another person that you’re missing, it’s actually your own life!

Whilst you are thinking of where else you could be, you are marking yourself absent from where you are now. Which means you are really nowhere.

People seem to spend their entire life in ‘nowhere’. And so never really get ‘anywhere’. This is not a wise choice, as your life will pass you by before you know it!


You will miss the pleasure and the joy of being present in your life, achievements, goals, happiness, peace and contentment.

Be present and be in your life fully, and enjoy the journey, this is not a dress rehearsal and you do not know when your last day will be.
