It is easy to criticise and be critical, we all do it, I know I do and sometimes recently I think far too often about situations and happenings.
When you become excessively critical towards others, or situations etc it probably means you are going in the wrong direction.
We are usually very good at spotting mistakes, it seems easier to spot a mistake than see the good in a person or situation etc, but we should develop the quality of seeing or spotting the goodness. After all who are we to criticise anyone? Why do we think we are better or know better?
If you can see what is good in others or in situations and go beyond the curtain of negativity, it will help you to feel better about yourself and then whatever it is you’re criticising.
If you constantly think he/she/they is/are wrong, not doing what they should etc, then all you do is actually create a barrier which blocks you from reaching our own inner goodness.
There is a very ancient law or saying which says: ‘just as I treat others, I shall be treated by others’ This is a piece of wisdom that is wise to follow.
So instead of criticising, step back for a moment take a deep breath or two and relax, then re think your thoughts, even smile, then find something good to think or say, or don’t think or say anything.
Everything is actually just as it is meant to be anyway, otherwise it wouldn’t be as it is.
